IPA and Kinetic Worldwide launch revolutionary Life Mapper tool
27 March, 2014
Kinetic Worldwide has developed Life Mapper, a brand new interface and data analysis tool for the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising’s (IPA) TouchPoints5.
Launched by the IPA today (March 27), TouchPoints5 – Life Mapper is a game-changing tool designed to enhance the way users of TouchPoints5 can access and analyse consumer diary data before, during and after activity or media exposure.
The application highlights the agency’s on-going investment in big data analysis tools and will provide TouchPoints5 subscribers with an intuitive, 'what happened next' view of the data.
Mick Ridley, MD of Meta, the data consultancy division of Kinetic, said: “We were asked to create the product by the IPA based on the original approaches we have previously demonstrated in visualising research data and the shared belief in the value of understanding consumer sequential behaviours.
We have the ambition and capability to design and build the most innovative tools, not only for our own business but for the industry as a whole. This work for the IPA is for us just the first, 2014 will see a number of exciting announcements”.
The IPA’s Research Director, Lynne Robinson added: “The question, ‘What did they do next?’ has been at the top of everyone’s wish-list since the launch of TouchPoints. I am delighted that Kinetic has been able to produce this for us, particularly in such an easy to use dashboard, and look forward to working with them to develop more ground-breaking analysis tools.”
