Ogilvy appoints Rebecca Moody as Chief Strategy Officer

LONDON — Ogilvy & Mather Advertising has appointed Rebecca Moody as Chief Strategy Officer. Rebecca will head up the Planning Department, and partner O&M Advertising CEO, Cheryl Giovannoni, and Chief Creative Officer, Gerry Human, in running the London agency. She is due to take up her role in January 2014.

Rebecca joins from adam &eveDDB which she joined in November 2012 as Strategy Partner, overseeing accounts including Unilever and John Lewis. Prior to that, she spent five years at Euro RSCG London as Head of Planning, where she was part of the agency management team.

During this period, Rebecca was lead planner on the £60m global pitch win for Dulux, and part of the team to bring the Santander business into the agency. She also oversaw the development of the ‘Here’s to Real Friends’ campaign for Chivas Regal Global and the IPA Effectiveness Award-winning ‘Pliktisijiteur Pageant’ for VO5 Extreme Style. She has worked for agencies including AMV BBDO, DFGW and Lowe Howard-Spink during her career.
