20 May, 2013
The executive that leads the advertising agency Y&R assumes the function for the 2013-2015 biennial
Marcos Quintela, president of the agency Y&R (leader of the Brazilian advertising market for 11 years, according to Ibope) and partner in Grupo Newcomm, is the new president of the Brazilian Advertising Agency Association (Abap) São Paulo regional office. The executive was elected after an electronic vote open to all 235 members of the institution held last Tuesday.
To Quintela, assuming the position is a great challenge. “One of Abap’s missions is the support to advertising self-regulation and the principles of free commercial expression. I will work to further contribute to the São Paulo market, the national driver, to consolidate this positioning in the next two years,” executive states. The new national executive board and ABAP's regional office presidents will assume their positions today ( May 16) during an event at the WTC, in São Paulo.
