Added Value named 'best small company' in 2013 league for 2nd year running

Added Value has been named once again in the top 100 at The Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For 2013 awards.

Out of the 896 entries received and 240,000 employees surveyed, Added Value ranked 53rd flying the flag for the brand and marketing insight sector in the UK. The company also received the prestigious Three Star Accreditation from Best Companies.

The award was presented to staff at Added Value at a gala celebration held at Battersea Evolution, Battersea Park (London) on the evening of 27th February.

Hopefully this award shows us that we’re making great progress.”

Best Companies has established its reputation through an authoritative and highly rigorous methodology, which identifies workplace performance and best practice according to eight key factors – leadership, my manager, personal growth, wellbeing, my team, giving something back, my company and fair deal. Employees from participating organisations are surveyed based on this rigorous methodology. This enables Best Companies to compile lists of the 100 top companies in each size category.

Apart from recognising outstanding workplaces, the Best Companies methodology has been specifically developed to help employers better understand today's complex and ever changing array of workplace issues and how they relate directly to their own organisation. Added Value was runner up for the special award for Giving Something Back for an initiative instigated and run by a small group.

Added Value will be profiled in The Sunday Times Best Companies special supplement, published on 10 March. As an accredited award winner in 2013 and in 2012, Added Value will also feature in the Best Companies iPhone App, which is available as a free download from the Apple Store. The App contains profiles of all Sunday Times listed and Best Companies Accredited organisations back to 2001.
