Harveys Furniture first UK retailer to market with Twitter Product Cards

LONDON — Harveys Furniture, the largest furniture specialist in the UK, is the first major retailer in the UK to adopt Twitter Product Cards. Social@Ogilvy worked closely with both Harveys Furniture and Twitter to roll out this latest innovation across Harveys’ leading product ranges, as well as set up the mechanics to track and measure their impact.

Twitter Product Cards are designed to showcase products ‘in stream’ including images, descriptions, pricing information and other key details such as colour and/or ratings. They help brands to better represent retail items on Twitter, and to ultimately drive sales. With the launch of these latest product preview cards, any tweets including links to Harveys Furniture product pages will now preview that product’s sales information, including the latest 5 star score from Harveys’ ratings and reviews partner, Bazaarevoice.
