MEC announces senior leadership appointments and new hires

Senior Appointments and New Hires:
has been elevated to the role of President, Client Services, North America. Rick maintains client management oversight for all U.S. clients including Citi (global), IKEA and Scotts Miracle Gro, among others. Working with the team of client leaders and specialists from across the agency, he is tasked with continuing to drive strategic planning throughout the work for clients, streamlining communications and processes across teams. He also joins the executive leadership committee in North America, supporting and contributing to the agency’s growth initiatives.
has been appointed to President, Agency Development responsible for leading the agency’s Business Development and Marketing disciplines. This is a new position focused on developing new and existing business for North America, and elevating the agency’s strategic leadership. Eamonn joined MEC North America in 2007 from MEC London to oversee the agency’s international client coordination hub, Global Solutions (the largest international media management hub per RECMA). In this new role, he maintains select key client relationships while remaining active on the North America Executive Leadership Committee.
joins the agency as President, Global Solutions, assuming the role previously filled by Eamonn Store. Mark brings diverse agency and media owner experience having worked at Viacom International as SVP leading the Viacom International Media Networks brand solutions team, Publicis & Hal Riney/ Zenith Optimedia where he led the global HP media business, and Optimedia and Ogilvy & Mather in the UK. Mark oversees client management for MEC’s flagship global accounts, including Accenture, BlackRock, Chevron, Marriott, and Xerox, among others. Mark sits on the North America Executive Leadership Committee.
, previously Practice Lead of Social, has been appointed to serve in a dual role as Global Client Lead on the agency’s Netflix business, and Global Digital Product Development Director. Based in MEC’s San Francisco office, Kristine is tasked with bolstering Netflix’s marketing efforts primarily in North America, while deepening the agency’s relationships with key technology and publishing companies based in the San Francisco bay area in this new position.
has been elevated to the role of Practice Lead, Social. A dynamic member of the social team since 2008, Ming has a proven track record of using social data to expose opportunities across all media channels, while ensuring that social programs ladder back to holistic client goals. Ming is responsible for continuing to drive increased engagement for the agency’s domestic and global clients in the area of social.
Scott D Schwartz
joins MEC as Managing Partner, responsible for driving fully integrated communications strategies on the Citi Consumer business. Scott comes to MEC after nearly 10 years at MediaVest working across a diverse list of clients including Heineken USA, Walmart, Mars and Kraft.
joins the agency as Managing Partner, overseeing the Campbell’s account in North America. Michael has logged over 20 years of media agency experience where he worked with clients including Coca-Cola and American Express, and most recently spent time at UM/J3, where he led the Johnson & Johnson portfolio of healthcare brands.
joins as Managing Partner, Global Solutions from Initiative where he most recently served as SVP overseeing the Hasbro and Nikon business. Tej also gained experience on the movie and Home Entertainment business working at A+E Home Entertainment, Fox and Warner Brothers, prior to joining Initiative.
