Customer relationship management firms merge

SAVATAR, Inc. and MSI Consulting have announced a merger designed to provide a broader range of customer relationship management (CRM), strategy and marketing services to clients.
John Macario, president of SAVATAR, will serve as president and CEO of the combined companies, with headquarters in Boston. Bob Kazarian, the president and CEO of MSI Consulting, will serve as a management consultant to SAVATAR. The companies have additional offices in Seattle and Los Angeles.
SAVATAR offers CRM strategy development to compliment its existing process and technology practice. John V. Knight, has been named to head the new strategy practice. Knight previously served as Senior Vice President at Bronner, Slosberg, Humphrey, a pioneering firm in the CRM field. He has also served as Vice President of Corporate Strategic Planning for the Walt Disney Company and Vice President of Marketing On-Premise for Pepsi Cola.
Clients of the combined firm include leading telecommunications, technology, retail, and Internet companies.
SAVATAR focuses on assisting clients in managing multi-line customer relationships. It is a subsidiary of the London-based WPP Group (NASDAQ: WPPGY), a global communication services company with 33,000 employees and 950 offices in 92 countries.
