  • Awards Galore! October 2012
    WPP's sustainability activities have recently been recognised internationally with four awards. WPP received India's Golden Peacock Global Award for Sustainability 2012 for the Group's initiatives in promoting sustainable development and engaging stakeholders. WPP won the Strategic Communications category at the International Visual Communications Association Clarion Awards for the integration of sustainability into the WPP Annual Report and developing a sustainability app for Group companies to start a conversation with their clients. Bronze awards were given by Communicate Magazine for best pro-bono work for a charitable/social/ethical cause, and by the Digital Impact Awards for best use of digital to aid a CR campaign.
  • WPP ranked among top companies for corporate sustainability September 2012
    WPP has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for the third consecutive year. The DJSI tracks the performance of companies that lead the field in corporate sustainability. It is a prestigious index that is widely used by responsible investors and others.
  • WPP CR website ranked highest in peer group by Investis Quarterly Corporate Website Ranking
    Investis IQ has awarded WPP's website an overall score of 64% for its best practice criteria, content, functionality, usability and effectiveness, compared to a peer average score of 57%.
